To maintain your health and vigor in your old age, you need to strengthen and keep each of these domains strong over many decades.
That’s easier said than done. Consider it from a practical perspective: Each day has 24 hours. Of those 24 hours, approximately 8-10 hours will be spent sleeping, at least 2 hours invested into relationships, at least 2 hours of activity, at least 3 hours eating or preparing food, and at least half an hour meditating. You’ll likely need another hour in the bathroom over the course of a day. That leaves 5-7 hours left. Is that enough for you to travel to and from work, do your job, and pursue your hobbies?
